Building Simple Microservices Using Slim 3.0
Developing monolithic applications that run on giant servers with no horizontal scaling has been becoming less of the standard in PHP. Scaling out can be a huge issue that many companies face and don’t think about at the start. This course will teach the basics of Slim 3.0 and how to integrate a Database Abstraction Layer into Slim for creating a robust scalable API for all calls with JWT token based authentication. We will also help teach the fundamentals of what makes microservices so reusable and ways to help build and maintain a farm of microservice based APIs using Slim. Slim contains middleware which help make creating modularized services a snap.
